i have organized a cheap track day at Croft for mx5's to try to use facilities that we have in the North East and due to the recent court case which they lost to bring them some extra revenue back..

the day will be the cheapest track day at Croft or at most international racing circuits in the UK in 2011....

we hope to bring it too you at £125.00

cars need to be under 88dec (noise) and we can get a couple of cars checked but would think most are under....

what do you guys think any ideas...

hi craig this would be my first track day, can you tell me what i would need please. if there is nothing too onerous required, i could be very interested! :driving: iain
 
Hi..

You will need a driving licence.. a car.... helmets can be hired for £15.00 from Croft if you do not have one.....

after that your petrol and just give your car a check over

brakes, tyres, coolant, water in wipers, oil, thats about it...

look at it as you are going to drive around country roads without the police hiding ( you can go over the speed limits), cars pulling out infront of you, but you have some run off on corners not a fence or ditch straight in front of you.....

oh and an instructor will be on hand if you would like some pointers or even a passanger

you will be in sessions which will run for 15mins and have aprox 7 sessions on track in the day....

When is it not interested in tracking the car but would like to pop along as a spectator as Croft is about 30 mins away :thumbsup:
