Creaky seat

Drivers seat has started creaking, adjusting it has made no odds

Don't think it's the leather, more the "frame"

Any suggestions?

Creaking when moving/driving or when you adjust seating position etc, or simply random creaks?

Could be the runners. Might need a little grease application? Can't really think what else it might be. My 3 series had very greasy seat runners when I bought it - spotted the first time I properly hoovered it. Wasnt even 3 years old when I bought it...

Nargh - not likely to be the runners, but an easy first point to eliminate.

Zed seats actually quite complicated. It can squeak between the leather and plastic trims. Between seat squab and frame. The fixings of the squab into the seat frame that have small plastic tubes to silence them. Loose fixings in the frame parts... And I could go on and on.

Take the seat out. Don't turn on ignition one airbag disconnected and tighten/grease all the points you find.

When you are 6'3" it's a fine adjustment between comfort and a squeak... :)
I put a piece of foam behind the drivers seat to stop it rubbing on the plastic behind because I have the seat back all the way and also reclined...seems to quiet it down. Also if the head rest is raised it gives the seat a bit more recline space.

I was making the assumption it's the seat itself squeezing, rather than an issue of rubbing against the rear. Mine does this too if I take it too far back and it's a compromise of how far back, slope, etc.
