Creaking Suspension

Any ideas what this could be? It seems to be coming just from the rear; however I haven't tested the front.

The rear creaks when I come into my road, every time, which has a sharp uphill bit. Also when I press down on the rear, it creaks.
 
i have the same problem with mine :( took it back to the dealer who said they could not find anything wrong...
 
Even if you push down on it an illustrate the issue to them? May just need re-greasing, as my OH's Corsa did.
 
umm maybe unrelated, have a creaking problem in mines but only with the handbrake on, flat or incline, getting in and out of the car or incline (nose first) engaging the handbrake.

Car's going to the stealer for an oil service + MOTthis Wednesday, they're looking at it then and I will post any findings here, springs/handbrake linkage suspect?
 
Do they?? Well, could save myself some money tomorrow and tell them not to bother investigating if that's he case?
 
i think i have the same creek, and yes its the hand brake as far as i can tell. if jiggle about in my seat before i get out i dont get the noise, but if i get out quickly just after putting the hand brake on it makes a small creek sound, i just assumed it was due to my weight coming out of the car, not that im heavy, but its still a difference.

however my hand brake does need an adjustment i think as i have to make sure its engaged quite high, other wise it doesnt bite, but to be honest i leave it in gear just in case.
 
Sorry about bumping this up!!!!!!

My car was creaking really badly today in Sainsburys Carpark! So bad people were turning round to see wtf was going on.

It materialised the minute I turned the wheel from standstill and crept along until i was out of the carpark. Another trip to the dealer it think! Its really high pitched on slight turns of the steering wheel at very low speed. I.e navigating out of my homes drive etc also..
