Creaking Roof

Anyone else had problems with their roof creaking when it is up? Had my Zed for a few days now and loving it , I just hate rattles!

I'm afraid I can't empathise as my roof is blissfully silent. However, there are some other posts on here about creaking roofs and what to do. E.g. :

My 23i had this when cold weather set in. Dealer lubed the seals and it was fine.

Thanks for the link. Having said above that my roof is blissfully silent, I now have the dreaded creak and feel as if I have been initiated into some exclusive club. I think it's time to order a bottle...

Your roof will creak at some point in time and dependent on road surface and ambient temps. Mine will creak if the car has been sitting in full sun and then driving slowly on an uneven surface, however at speed on smooth roads its always been silent. Its just the nature of the beast. seperate panels and all the gubbins to make it work is bound to make the odd noise so long as not rattling. A combination of gummi phfledge and krytox usually works for me.
