When i turn my wheel slightly to the left or right at slower speed there is a sound of creaking floor boards, ive been told its the bushes on the front, there is no sound on vertical suspension (pushing the car down) just annoying really.Any ideas does this sound a usual sound for gone bushes? If so to replace the whole front end bushes whats a ball park figure ?

I have an intermittent, not disimilar noise on certain really slow braking and turning moves (<2 mph) Depends on temperature, how dry the suspension is, etc. Just annoying whne I like things near perfect.

My instinct it that it's front bushes and plan to at some point change the wishbones, drop links, anti roll bar bushes and anything else I think at the tiime is tired. (Already done the rear trailing lollipops for handling) I'm reckoning on £300 or so of parts (guess) but will do all the labour myself.

Probably add another £100 for full geo set up after I finish.

I had the same when the car was very dry, I found the attached article and lubricated all the bearings and UJs I could find on the steering EXCLUDING the top slip ring and cured mine (I hope it's not bad form to post a link to another forum?)
