Creaking brakes

Is it normal for the brakes to creak when changing parked modes e.g. parked on a hill and driving off or handbrake on and then reversing. My gut feeling is that it is but just wanted to check if normal.

It is normal, mine creak something rotten when cold, I have the dealer look at it a number of times, but they still creak once the brake has been applied a few times, no more creak.

Mine creak when travelling very slow and just inching forward into the garage.

Can't say I have noticed it any other time

Mine creak first thing and sometimes when going slowly, not what you would expect, but just a minor annoyance.

Yep, usually when just getting the car out of the garage when cold.

Sounds bad from inside the cab, must sound worse from the outside

Yes mine creak all the time these days, especially in the mornings.........

After a wash and moving into the garage as others have said, horrendous creaking. I do it now on purpose to get dog barking and annoy the wife 8)
