Crashed my 35is

Looking great and glad you’re happy with it now you’ve had time to fully check it out in the daylight

Now go and do what you’re meant to be doing and go and get it dirty again :driving:

The repair work looks well  It's good to be able to find a repair shop that actually takes pride in their work and does a good job!

I see your new addition is a dash cam then :D

Yep, was actually sat in a drawer since I bought the car. Read somewhere it was a pain to fit, wasn't that bad at all.

Thanks for the comments, I'm really happy to be driving my P&J again. I've really missed the experience, plenty of power country roads and the top down to enjoy the burbling sounds from the engine. :D

Glad your happy with the car mate - I know I would miss mine if anything happened to it
:D

Thanks, haven't stop grinning since I picked it up, even managed to get a few miles in with the top down. So happy the bodyshop got it just right. I suppose that's why I had to wait a while to get it in, would certainly wait that long again, his painting is by far thbe best I've seen for quite some time.

Your car looks great, and it's good to hear you are pleased with the work carried out by the bodyshop.

Now all you need to do is enjoy it again. :driving:

FFS you, hopefully not :rcard: :rcard:

 not planning on crashing it again, just saying the workmanship is 100%, I'll be sending him a message tomorrow thanking him, the paint is that good!

Anyway, Ive got the camera in now so any future problems the evidence is recorded

Well stats say if you have one a second will come - hopefully not :o

Hopefully not, so far it's cost me £400 excess and £90 extra insurance, I'll get the £400 back if the insurance goes in my favour, it's 2 against 1, financially I couldn't care, it's about justice for me, the cause of the incident has put an injury claim in :o I have provided pictures of the car post crash so definately BS .

Feel like it was set up now

Me to - its the reason your insurance increases.

Some people have the cheek of the devil, I would be going round n making sure she couldn't drive her car for a few days after that stunt.

My neighbour has just had his new Rav 4 hybrid totalled after someone hit the back of him (he said his car just stopped when he was accelerating), the police have said its the guy who hit him at fault (to close), he could not care about claiming for whiplash, he just wants a new car to replace the one he lost

That is shocking and the reason why we all need to fit cameras to our cars, i'm kicking myself that I had a camera and didn't fit it.

Truth is insurance companies love this sort or behavior and they are as much to blame as the consters that are putting the claims in.

I will gladly help fellow Zed drivers who want a camera fitting in my area free of charge (E89 that is)

The problem is all these legal claims companies, they are straight on the phone contacting people persuading them to make a claim for personal injury, I had an accident a few years ago where someone drove into my vans open door when I was parked up, the number of calls I had about making a claim was ridiculous, in the end I said yes to one woman just to shut her up, They had someone at my house that night with the paperwork for me to sign, they tell you such bullsh*t making out the cheques already made out for you, in the end after having a medical and several emails I ended up dropping it, I really couldn’t do with all the hassle, I certainly wouldn’t do it again unless I was severely injured.

I’ve been considering fitting a camera myself, did you follow any online guides for the installation? Or if not how about doing a guide yourself.
