Cracked standard rear M rims...Bad day!

What a day from hell, i'm meant to be going to Islay tomorrow with some forum members, well knowing that i'm going to sunny Scotland i thought it would be a good idea to fit some new rear tyres to my z4mr, how wrong could i be, the tyre fitting knobs have cracked not one but both rear rims :headbang:, was then told they will replace both wheels free of charge but after getting in contact with BMW they will not arrive until around seven days.
Has anyone else experienced issues with standard M rims?
 
Did they drop them? I read it wrong and thought you meant it was the issue people seem to have with the newer designs - didn't realise they did it, can't work out how TBH
 
Shame you arent closer,i have a full set of zmr wheels in the garage might have been persuaded to give you a loan of them. :poke: :thumbsup:
