Cracked speedo lens.

Hello,

Can anyone give me some advice on replacing the lens in front of the Rev counter. Cracked it today and I’m hoping it’s an inexpensive repair although I’m sure BMW will charge a fortune.

That’s some pretty aggressive cleaning technique you have there

A quick look on realoem and I don’t think you can get it separately so you may have to get a whole binical from a breakers and split it to swap it.

Might be a bit costly.
How did you do it out of interest?

Is was just very unlucky. My phone fell off its magnetic holder whilst I was turning (very slow speed) hit my hand and wedged itself between the steering wheel and the instrument cluster. As I turned the wheel straight again the phone cracked the plastic.
