Cracked MV2 - any point pursuing BMW for good will?

Hey all,

Got a couple of new tyres fitted to the back this morning - tyre fitter noticed I've got a crack in an alloy. Reckons about £60 for a repair.

Before I do that - just wondered what anyone's thoughts were on pursuing BMW for any sort of good will? I bought the car on AUC 22 months ago, so been out of warranty almost a year. Therefore, I'm assuming there's no point wasting my time on this - but don't wanna miss out if anyone else has had success! Especially if there's the chance of a new wheel instead of a fix.

Cheers,

Ben

Yeah, searched the forum and couldn't find any others...

Do I approach the dealer? Presumably where i bought the car from, rather than a local one? Or should I contact BMW UK directly?

Tbh I think you will be pissing in the wind unless due to the other wheels they have changed their stance.

Where are you based? I'd want to make sure it went somewhere trustworthy to be welded

Platinum wheels in Swindon or Lepsons in Kent are both excellent
