Hi Guys,

I've cracked my wheel and it's leaking air, does anyone know what type this is, it's 18 "..............alloy.jpg

Also has anyone had any success welding these ?

Thanks
Kevin

I didn't think mv2's were prone to cracking?

I've hit loads of pot holes with these wheels and several times I got out of the car expecting to see the wheel broken ,..yet it wasn't , now I have a slow puncture and find a crack near the rim on the inside, I'll post pics tomorrow

I was going to suggest Maidstone Motoliners, but then I looked at your country... Bit of a trek.

Genuine mv2's are not but the one in the picture is a fake I believe

..I would be inclined to agree, with your comment.. As the centre cap, looks similar to a fake variant / variety..
Combined with the fact, that OE MV2s, have two numbers embossed into the casting, around the centre cap also, I believe..
Best of luck, with sorting the issue, however..

Centre cap means nothing, but do think they are fakes. The end of the spokes should blend into the rim where as these have a definite line. There should be one stamp on originals looking at this site.
