Crack in my knob!

Ordered a ZHP knob from Germany (got it cheaper than Sopers could offer) buts its turned up with a crack in the insert. Ive emailed the seller, a BMW specialist, to see what solution they can offer. However in the meantime does anyone know where i could get a new 5spd insert?
 
Return it back to Germany as faulty. Sounds like there was a reason why it was cheaper than Sopers excellent prices. :wink:
 
The guy from Germany seems to be willing to help me out. Found the inserts on eBay (was searching for inlays originally with no joy). He asked for a photo and said he will help out. So hopefully he will refund the amount it will cost me to buy a new insert (7.49) on eBay, or you never know he might send me a whole new one if hes really nice. In which case il have a spare for sale.

I tend to do my shopping at work so buying from eBay is always easier for me than getting on the phone to Sopers. I really should get out of this habit tho as im sure life would be much easier dealing with Sopers.

Well that blows the German efficiency theory into a cocked hat. Next day price inclusive delivery from BMW Sopers in Lincoln. :wink:

True LOL. However they did have one in stock but it was the five speed.

I obviously declined.
