Covid jab

There's also the FACT that mrna vaccines increase your chance of cardiac related death, esp if you have had cardio/respiratory health issues.

https://m.economictimes.com/industr...rida-surgeon-general/articleshow/94717144.cms

I dont know why/how anyone would willingly sign up for something that clearly doesn't work as a vaccine, is not specifically quantifiable or qualifiable even as a preventive measure against covid symptoms and actually increases your risk of dying from side effects of the vaccine!

I'm clearly missing something... :?

We all make our choices. Some follow the advice of leading experts in their field with degrees, masters, published peer reviewed papers and years of experience in virology etc.
Others find something written on the internet by Karen from Dartford they agree with.

You're on first name terms with the Florida Surgeon General then? Impressive.
I thought it was a guy called Joseph but if you say it's Karen then you must be more well-informed than me.
You may find the Surgeon General who presented the findings of the analysis in my link might just have one or two degrees and is considered an authority in his particular field. No mean feat to hear this from someone in charge of a service otherwise so heavily influenced, lobbied-by and reliant on the pharmaceutical industry

You're obviously one of the 'sheep' who decided not to question anything about efficacy or potential side effects of covid vaccines, electing to just put yourself and possibly others at risk, but hey, you're obviously an expert and know more than everyone else about how safe and effective they are.
So go on, get yourself jabbed. Set an example to the rest fella....

People need to admit to themselves that the main reason that they got jabbed in the first place was so they could go on holiday

Ah, the stock answer from an anti vaxxer, you're a sheep.
Everything has a side effect, look at the information sheet in a packet of Aspirin.

Not an anti-vaxxer at all.
In fact I would implore you to get the vax.

Shame old Wullie (flying fifer) isn't around anymore; this could have been yet another major 'difference of opinion' thread on Covid. Always found them fun! :o

Yep, I miss him like I miss Ebola.

Each person should make decisions based on their own personal circumstances. If you have a reason that makes you vulnerable one way or the other then that will make your decision regardless of "expert" advice.

I am reminded of a definition of an expert given by an after dinner speaker I once had the pleasure of listening to, one Professor Usher who was a Home Office Pathologist and the funniest speaker I have ever heard.

He introduced himself as an expert, stating an ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure.

Despite having a major problem with the whole Covid thing, which has affected my mental health and given me anxiety and depression; I was champing at the bit for my vaccines and was bemoaning anybody not taking it seriously from day one; I am now in two minds due to experiences of people (and myself to a degree) that I know.

I don't know very many people but of those I do know well:-
One woman of 43 had a minor heart attack last summer (previously healthy) and was vaccinated. No reason given by the medics.
One man of 53 had a minor heart attack last summer (previously extremely healthy) and was vaccinated. No reason given by the medics.
And my BIL at 49 was diagnosed with heart failure; had to give up his job, is on medication for life, can't do most things he previously did and is under constant threat of a heart attack (previously extremely healthy and very active in both work and socially). Fully vaccinated. No reason given by the medics.

I have been feeling extremely tired lately (last year or so), and don't feel well most days. I have never had a day's illness in my 55 years until after my third vaccination. I have always been very active until now.

All the above may be a coincidence, but it does make me think. I have not had Covid and neither has anyone in my household (yes we have tested a lot).

To give some balance to your worries

A chap at work dropped down dead at circa 30 years old
He was a super fit chap, marathons, iron man events etc

Friends in Germany lost their son at 26 years- he was a fit and healthy young man ( poor lad died in his sleep)

Indeed my own AF came to me suddenly without any prior warning

These events were long before any Covid jabs were on the scene

Unfortunately it’s just a tapestry of life.

Nothing to do with the jab - the scaremongers thrive on these events and often don’t date relate them.

Ps don’t wake the fella from Fife - haven’t you noticed how light hearted the Forum has been of late? John e89 firmly put him back in his box a while ago and probably best left like that.

I had noticed the same and was worried when that thread started, thought it'd get messy in less than a day, it managed to be peaceful for a few but seems like it is going messy again... I'll try to refrain from reading this one :|

FF has sold his car, so think that may be the reason!

Thanks Ron, appreciate the sensible response
