Had my Covid jab number 4 today, what with these and the flu ones I think I ought to change my forum name to “Mike the spike”

Got my forth Covid this morning too. :D

Never had a flu jab though. Only so much I can handle.

Had three jabs and have had various strains of Covid 3 times without much effect. Think I will give them a miss from now on.

The jab has had its effects as you are posting in the forum discussion section :D

Last one I had was in May of this year. Pfizer / BioNtech which I'd not had before. My arm still aches like hell around where they jabbed me so I'm a bit wary about having another booster to be honest. :(

My No 4 jab has been delayed until this Sunday as I caught the covid lurgy a while back and have to wait four weeks before being jabbed. Had the Flu vax last week.

I suspect the Mods will move this thread to the appropriate (Lounge) section?

That is the one I had yesterday. My arm has been a bit sore today. Off rock climbing in the morning though, expect that will cure that issue.

When I got my flu jab at my local pharmacy, the chap suggested sore arms were linked to rushed injection of the vaccine. My flu vaccine was slow - no lumps or sore arm at injection site.

Had number four a few weeks ago. No side effects so far beyond what you might expect from having a needle stuck into your arm.
People who say they have been vaccinated but still caught covid need to realise how much worse it might have been if they hadn't been vaccinated.

People forget that it is not 100% effective

It never claimed to be 100% effective... bit like seatbelts aren't 100% effective at stopping you dying in a car crash.... still better to wear one though.

Had all four of the jabs but it didn't stop me getting Covid, returned from Hols in Bulgaria and two days later tested positive. Must say all I had was a runny nose and a slight cough plus upset stomach. Pretty sure it would have been worse if I hadn't had the jabs.

Not had any. Caught the bad cold back in September 2020 and lost my sense of smell and taste for a while along with a bit of a runny nose for a couple of days.

Consider yourself a lucky fella !

Whilst I agree and the strain I caught was nothing to write home about, the medics are suggesting it’s restarted my af

I'm well ahead of you as I've had five. My wife is a nurse and she has only had three

No covid or flu jabs for me. They’re not vaccines.
Haven’t had covid....yet.
Vitamin D3 and staying away from other people is the best prevention

Will be having mine, anything to reduce the possibly of ending up strapped to a ventilator which wouldn't be too much fun.

Hopefully those that don't will stay lucky

Tim.
