Nearly, they is a bit that sticks out roughly in the middle of the flap that makes contact with the switch.
Monkeydonkeyratmagic said:Not sure from the diagram but where that release cable in the boot latches onto it. That's it. Found it a while ago dicking about with the grom unit. May be why yours doesn't work. If that cable doesn't release anything it's just plain busted.

Can't see that on mine, was looking the other day as the damn thing, and the lock on it has never worked.

srhutch said:early models didn't lock. There was a fix from memory. It's documented here on the forum.
