Couple of Z's in New York

Recenet trip to New York and I spotted a couple of z's. Very surprised at the difference between London and NY, hardly any nice cars compared to the amount round here. Just didn't 'seem' like people had the kind of money we do in London.
Anyway heres a couple of pics, me with a red 'un and a blue one driving by near Grand central...

I'm not really surprised ... I would never even think of bringing my Z4 into New York, and most people who live in the city consider a car to be more of a liability than an asset.

Absloutely! If you've ever lived in NYC you know why it's crazy to own a nice car. If the pot holes, don't kill you, the salt in the winter will. Parking is done via the braille method (stop when you feel the next car's bumper), and a convertible makes the car a target even the casual thief can't resist. If you love your car, you'd be heartbroken within two weeks!

I'm floating about in the middle of the river at the moment, just off Ellis Island. Would love to go and take a look at the Z's

Not gonna find too many nice cars in NYC lol!

Saying that I saw my first Enzo in chinatown!!

you need to come over the river to Bergen County NJ
Although I do miss London from time to time :D

Not to mention scrapes with Taxicabs. I have seen new Lexus SUVs with cattle guards on the front and back bumpers in the big apple. LOL. Pity the poor naked Zeds. Best to have a garage somewhere. I do love visiting that city though, but won't ever take my Z there, the subways are perfectly fine for getting around.

Ben,

Ellis Island is closed. We are not taking any more immigrants. Go home.......

True, I did get told yesterday that I was too close - the police boat couldn't keep up with me however. There are some nice boats here atlease

I live less than 90 miles from NYC and I never drive my car into the city....
