looking to get some new 18" wheels to replace the MV2's on the Z4 (I know a lot of people like them, I don't think they suit the car tbh, it doesn't help they're desperate for a refurb). Anyway, a couple of questions.
The wheels will most likely be staggered, 8.5j front and 9.5j rear. What offset would be best for wheels of this width, to ensure the wheels fill the arches nicely? And am I correct in saying front wheels would need to have a slightly lower offset number to compensate for their reduced width?
Also, would the standard 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 tyres fit these wider wheels without looking ridiculously stretched?

tyres as you suspect will fit but not be ideal
