coupes are so rare

What is it with coupe owners constantly going on about how rare & exclusive their cars are. Are you guys trying to make urself feel better that 'supposed' status makes up for the fact you bought the wrong car...

I always get comments about my roadster....& guess what...I can drop my roof!!!!

Get over it!!!!

When did you get your pass for this section btw?

daz05, why are you not registered in the exclusive coupe club, you would qualify as senior member

Yeah its like back in the 80's when video recorders first came out, you had VHS and Betamax, Everyone who bought Betamax were always going on about how much better they were than vhs, Just trying to justify the huge error they had made.[/quote]

like it,nosa

Then again, its maybe just to do with the fact that the Roadster was on sale for aprox. 3 years before the Coupe came out, that its seen more often.
And what do they say "Original is always best"
and "if you want a Roadster go for one that was Designed as one from the outset"
:poke:

It won't be long before someone mentions the coupe being a (not so) glorified hatchback. Oops - there you go, I just said it.

I see a few coupes regularly by me and think they look great. However in the 5,000 miles I've driven, I've not seen another ///M.

Up until I went on holiday in August the multi storey car park at Rugby station had my M Coupe and 2 others regularly - only a 495 space car park. Since I came back from holiday I haven't seen the other 2 :?

Ahem there are only 8 Lada 1500 remaining in the UK so rarity is sometimes not a sign of high future residuals ...

I'm starting to get very bored of the Coupe-Roadster thing.

Ditto. Well said! It is soooooo boring I could almost fall asle......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Agreed , very glad they are rare , part of the reason for getting one , when you've driven a tvr for 8 years and hardly see one its nice to have a beemer that few own . Great car to drive too by the way , love the suspension and straight six sound !!

Skoda Rapid Sport - what a contradiction? Loving the dual colour scheme.

Anyone on here ever owned a (pre-VW) Skoda or Lada?

Other than in the BMW dealership when i was looking to purchase in the first place i've only ever seen one other M coupe.

That also happened to be in the local train station car park and appeared to be same colour, spec and year as my car.

Interlagos Blue with champagne interior must have been a popular combo.

look at all the z3m coupes there are in estoril blue, does that make them common or popular ? bmw always planned iirc to bring roughly a thousand z4 coupes to the uk per year, 800 3-0's and 200 m's, so coupes are fairly rare and m's very rare, roadsters not rare, m roadsters very rare. :driving:
