Hi all. Currently having a couple of window issues on my coupe…
Any ideas for how I can begin to tackle this, folks? I suppose I’ll need new windows eventually but hesitant to go that way until the root cause is sorted. I guess there’s probably some debris stuck up there somewhere but I’m not sure how to go about this.
Has anyone been down this rabbit hole before and managed to sort it long term? TIA
- There is (sometimes) a terrible squeaking noise when operating the windows. There’s clearly some rubbing going on between the window and the mechanism/seal. It’s much worse on a hot day like today where things are expanded a bit
- Presumably as a result of this, there is some level of scoring and damage to the windows. Annoyingly, it’s right in front of my wing mirror. Pic attached
