Just had a quick gander at the AA used car price thing and since I last looked a couple of weeks ago, the part ex value of mine has jumped up £750! Is this a trend that's likely to continue I wonder? I do hope so, or at the very least prices stablise until the end of the year :)

Prices of used quality cars have gone up since the new year, i dont think the release of the new Z4 will affect prices much as they wont exactly be flying out the dealerships considering the current market and price tag of 30k+

Yes - and the publicity around the launch probably raises the profile of the Z4 'brand' more generally.

The new ones can fly - thats a nice feature :D

Pinch of salt....

Those used price sites etc are all over the show, like £2k difference between different sites and such.

TBH you can't even look at AT/PH and see what your car is truely worth, alot of cars seem to be well priced but still don't shift. Mine was utter bargain but still the guy had no interest for 7 days before me.

I searched Z4 Coupe on BMW's website last night. There were only 2 AUC available. Quality approved dealer cars are in demand. I couldn't find any Z4 Roadster with Xenon headlights on BMW website. I think I can now trade in my car to dealer at the price I paid 2 months ago.
