Coupe - preferred rear springs

I reckon I've read every post on here about rear springs but I'm none the wiser about which to go for...

I'm not too fussed about lowering the car - I'd sooner not mess about with the front or the geometry. I think the ride quality is likely to be better if the car's not lowered to the ground too.

I don't really want to buy BMW springs again. I've looked in to the various options and there don't seem to be too many aftermarket offerings for the coupe. I've identified:

EIBACH PRO-KIT LOWERING SPRINGS BMW Z4 CPE (E86) 3.0si (03.06 -) : Part No - E10-20-010-05-22 - LOWERS FRONT BY 30mm & REAR BY 20mm £207

H&R 29269-1 Lowering Springs Kit (35mm) - BMW Z4 (E85/86) £177.0029269-1 (I'm not convinced that the same springs are appropriate for Coupe and Roadster)

Sachs, Spax, Kilen, Suplex, Lesjofors don't appear to have appropriate offerings.

Have I missed anything? Anyone any thoughts about the preferred way forward?

Eibachs are the forum favourite. Although I reckon H&R look a little better (but lower) than the Eibachs. Not much in it

Eibachs have a 5 year guarantee vs the 2 year guarantee BMW springs have.

Thanks Adamski,

I must admit that I quite like the way the car sits at the moment with it's two broken rear springs (looking at the back at least) so may be lowering with Eibachs wouldn't be a problem. I've not been able to detect any handling problems (since the 2nd spring broke with in days of the first). I did notice that the rear tyres are wearing on the inside edge though.

At the moment the front sits a little higher than the rear so I can see traffic lights easier (when I'm first in the queue) but can't see much of any use through the rear view mirror!

It just seems like a lot of hassle to have to have all the geometry etc. done - especially with all the potholes and sleeping policeman around. Then there is the insurance aspect....

If they are easy and quick to change may be it would be a whole lot less hassle and expense to chance my luck with some BMW OEM's. This car can be a bit of a pain sometimes!
