A question for coupe owners,

do you own an SE or a Sport, is your VIN and LF or an LJ number?

Give people a chance Taz, you asked the question late last night and it's not even 9am yet... I'm sure you'll get some answers

Correcto! There's no rush for us to get up to get a dry drive in. I'll get up soon :-)

My M Coupe has an LF number. :)

All M's have an LF number, I think the first was LF78000 and the last was LF78655, hopefully I will be confirming this soon

does anybody have coupe that is anything other than LF, LJ or LE?

my database is getting bigger by the day

Looking forward to you completing your quest Taz. Interested just to see the rarity - bit of a selfish perspective but there you go, you'll just have to forgive me. Just one note: you're saying all MCs are LF denominated, which is fine - mine is too. But if the numbers are LF78000-LF78655 (you're right so far, mine would fit somewhere in that list), you'd have thought there'd be 655 M coupes. I have previously a seen a table published on here which detailed the overall UK numbers of Z4s, broken down into roadsters, coupes and the various engine sizes (I've saved it somewhere) - and that table showed approx 1000 M Coupes, which doesn't sit well with the numbers above. I'm sapphire black and recall there were 120 of them - hence my pos the otherday about finding 40 of the - which we've worked out was US production, I think. I am genuinely urging you on in your task so feel obliged to point this all out - I am hoping you have a good reason to reassure me/us with!

As you say, the figures don't match with the table, time will tell, the table gives:

Se's297
Sport 1,906
M's 588
