Coupe or Roadster . . . Decisions, Decisions

Regarding amount of wind with roof down - I've always found this a funny question as for me this was the whole reason I bought the roadster, to feel like you're outside. As others have said, the wind deflector does a good job for those who find it too draughty.

Being a biker too, the top down wind and noise isn't really an issue  . I just thought I'd add it to the mixing pot. Anyone got any comments on squeezing a Z4 in a UK garage?

Just my (biased) opinion: in the UK, sod the 3 days of nice top-down weather and take the handling, proper cockpit feeling and looks/exclusivity of the coupe. In other climates, i'd possibly go the other way, but in the UK i'm happy to trade the few days I feel like i'd be able to take the top down for the aforementioned benefits. That said, I have Raynards Syndrome, which means the weather has to be really nice for me to tollerate it, so maybe other people would see more opportunities for the wind-in-the-hair feeling that I don't.

Think that depends on the size of your garage... I havent even tried to get mine in as it is at an angle and Id have to use next doors drive to get straight. Plus I dont think Id be able to get out of the car once in - but my garage is quite narrow. If I had my parents house Id have no trouble at all as the it is wider...

Roadster/Coupe wasnt an option for me - couldnt afford the coupe as it hadnt been out long enough :(

Really do enjoy the roadster though :D
