Howdy,

What are out thoughts on this Coupe? Does it belong to anyone on here by chance?

That doesn't look like a silly price at present, and in Montego Blue with Bi-colour leather it looks fantastic. :thumbsup:

It looks like it has some good options too, Bi-Xenons, heated seats, cruise and passenger airbag disablement.
 
Same spec and colour as mine except I have black leather rather than bi-coloured. Good price too. Drop them £300.00 for the replacement water pump and stat unless they have been done recently and you’re good! :)
 
Looks great and the interior really lifts it/would be future selling point. Realistic price compared with some others that have been on here. Check out service /give bmw a call to check what dealer visits its had and negotiate from 7.6 perhaps. Cash might be king !

Whilst the car looks great, and does have an incredible spec, the ad mentions nothing of service history, number of owners, no under bonnet pics etc.

I would be checking it’s MOT history and asking about the service history of the car.

It’s a great example of one, but do the basic checks and don’t view it through the rose tints! ... however tempting this one is.
 
So I’ve spoken to the owner and he doesn’t have service history before he had it, looking at the MOT history it’s not bad, last one in March mentioned tires so I’ve asked about those. Didn’t ask if it’s a silver or black top engine, not that fussed about that. Obviously need to see the beast first but as he’s in London and in Wiltshire, need a bit more info first
 
He may not have the service invoices, but does he have a stamped-up book? If not I'd be a bit wary.

FWIW I would expect an 07 to have the black-top N52k rather than the silver-top N52.

I’d phone BMW and see what services they record it as having. It is all stored centrally (the ones at a BMW dealer), so they should be able to bring that right up. If you run into any trouble with that, is it on its first dealer plates (if so, maybe give them a call)?

Best case it has a good service history up to, say, 50,000 miles and then it’s just the last 20,000 odd that you don’t know about. Surely the owner must know what they have done for the last couple of years?

Put differently a bit of investigative work could land you a tidy motor when a lot of people wouldn’t even take a look. Could get a good price for it as a result.
 
I asked him about the tires and he's not come back to me regarding these, he did say he didn't think the water pump had been changed from the first set of questions I asked him.

I've noticed he's put the price down to £7995 now....
