Coupe itch scratched!

After a series of Z’s over the last 6 years Z3 2.0,Z4 E85 2.5 Roadster, and an E89 23i Highline Sport Sdrive I finally found a Z4 Coupe 3.0 Si that I couldn’t resist. I traded my E89 for an Ruby Black Auto Coupe 3.0 Si 2008 with 29K on the clock. I picked it up yesterday and drove in the torrential rain from Leeds to Home in Newcastle.
What a fantastic car, the auto box is superb, although I didn’t go above 3K in the rain. The brakes and lights are not as good as the E89, and I will miss the IDrive. But I love the looks and the driving experience of the Coupe.
I’ve spent the morning detailing the car,and here she is.

Very Nice. I’ve just bought a ruby black manual coupe. My first Z and I love it. Just done a 1000mile trip to France in it and can’t fault it.

Looks very tidy.

I'm on the lookout at the moment, athough I want a manual car.

I thought I was paying good attention to the classifieds, but I didn't see that one. Where did it pop up?

Good choice. I'll watch out for you around Newcastle in my Midnight Z4C. Or bring it along to the next BMWCCGB meet at Champs on Oct 14th - it will be the fourth Z4C amongst regulars.

Your car looks great Nick.

I love the lighter interiors with the darker colours.

Hopefully you are on the "multiple owners" thread!

Anyway another welcome to the exclusive Coupe club. :) There's just something special about an E86!

I got the car From SCC Guiseley Leeds. They are always looking out for good coupe’s. The car had only been advertised for one day before I purchased it.

Where is Champs ? I might well pay a visit. I used to go to the odd BMWCCGB meeting when I had my old E30 325 Cab.

Do like me and get a Coupe for Sir and a Roadster for Madame. All are happy then.
And you get best of both worlds

 D

Not as common as the old XR3 I used to own. In its day it was a fabulous car. (Well compared to my early Austin 1100 !) :D
