On Autotrader, no accident history. Maybe a diamond in the rough or a pig in a poke https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202303155268398?atmobcid=soc3

that looks pretty decent actually. if it starts and runs, i'd buy that. £4,500 is a steal, even for moon mileage.

I think you may need to act swiftly, the colour is great I think, condition too looks good. Go for it, you know you want to :poke: :poke:

I don't recall ever seeing a red zed. It's also only about 10 miles from me!

I think the spares or repair thing is because they don't want to warrantee it. It may well have problems but i don't suppose they're terminal.

That has to be the cheapest Coupe I have seen for ages and it as a rare colour. It could well be a bargain for someone with a limited budget who wants a Coupe with a limited budget!

Will the mrs kill me for the life insurance money if I buy a 3rd car?

I'd love to have something like this to play with and learn how to do more DIY stuff.

I need that in my life

I love red cars but hate z4s in red

But that colour really suits a coupe

tiglon you need to explain to her that if she kills you she won't be able to claim!

Than go and buy it.

I think she's capable of making it look like an accident

There is bound to be something seriously amiss with that car.
If a dealer is selling it for £4,500 then they bought it for a maximum of £3k (more likely £2k). Why?
The 'spares or repair because of the age and mileage' will be bollox I guarantee it.

The ‘not mechanically inspected’ part would worry me. I can’t imagine any dealer taking a car in with no mechanical check whatsoever? Almost feels like they’re aware of something very wrong and making excuses for it?

If that was closer I’d have bought it by now. IMO, They’ve brought in a high mileage trade in cheap, can’t even be arsed at looking at it as at 154k it’ll need something, won’t want to warranty anything so sell as spares and repairs no comeback. The first Zed I tried to buy was a hellrot coupe, it just looks amazing in that shape and colour. I’d be astonished if someone on here doesn’t take a punt at that money :driving:

Fixed!
Sorry mate but car dealers in this day and age do not ever sell cars cheap for no good reason IME. I would put money on there being something seriously not right with that car.

If I had somewhere to put it I'd definitely take a look at it.

I paid £3,450 for my 107K mile E90 330i 4 years ago. :(
