Got home early today after working up in Scotland so parked the van up and got out the Zed and went for a bit of a drive. I've passed a place called Brancepeth on the outskirts of Durham many a time so i thought i'd have a look since i was passing and found it has a castle so a good spot for some pics :thumbsup:

As it's Euromillions tomorrow,how much is that place worth? I could probably cope with having to live there :D

Kent Castle was probably bought by the Americans. Leeds Castle : http://www.leeds-castle.com/land.php

And yes, there is a way of getting the car onto the island and in front of the main castle :roll: You'd also get some great shots. From the roads that go round the lake.

I am going to try Stuart's suggestion :thumbsup:
 
Thats really cool. I've never seen a real castle before. Not many of those here in Florida.
