could these fit the e85?

Bet you cold make the seats fit. I doubt the door cards would without a lot of work.

I've heard the fitting rails or whatever for the e89 seats are narrower, not entirely sure though.
I think they look alot nicer then the e85 standard seats.

I would be interested to know . If they did then watch out for a stampede :P
i love the looks of my sport seats but its no secret that they ain't the most comfy  & at £260 for the 89 ones there could be a profit in the switch :)

...less than that if you win the auction and or sell the door cards and center.

I haven't got the skills do create a base...I bet machine monkey could create 2 adapters to bolt into the current points and the seats points

I see a new project for monkey

Tell you what nightyard get 2 sets and I will make them fit our cars!!!

how about I get one set and you make it fit my car :poke:

another issue is would the heated seat switch work with the seats and I presume you'd need the occupancy sensors from your current seats put into the new seats also

also driver seat airbag in that seat has blown so nevermind unless another set comes up cheap

They look almost identical to the sport seats (headrest's are a little different), probably equally uncomfortable! :headbang: lol

I will do the mechanics. I will let you do the electrics.

Seriously would be keen to work on this with you. If we could get it to work. It would be loads cheaper than the m sport seats. And I know I need new seat....
