Could my ground be the problem

So my 2011 30i has the following gremlins:

Inoperable power steering
OBDII port communications error
Door locks inoperable (but car receives door lock signal from key)
Rear windows (passenger & driver) inoperable
Passengers window inoperable from passenger switch
Static from radio
Parking brake light inoperable
Windshield wipers inoperable

Lifting up the drivers carpet revealed a soaked foam pad and this horribly corroded pair of comb connectors to ground. Could this be my issue? Just wondering since all these items at some point trace back to the left footwell junction box whose various grounds all flow to this point.

Just wondering if I should clean and replace then try reconnecting everything for testing or if I should dig further. The rest of the interior is bone dry by the way and the car was not a flood vehicle (rain soaked the drivers side due tot he top not fully closing. The top is a separate issue entirely and not related to these gremlins)

Also, if anyone has any step-by-step on removing the gas pedal so I can pull the carpet up more for drying that would be appreciated. Hell, if you have the steps to remove the ENTIRE carpet I’d appreciate it as it would speed up the drying time for the drivers side flooring.

Well it would certainly be a logical first step.
Until you get a known good connection there you will never know whether other work is affected by it or not.
It is obviously an issue, so sort that first and hopefully it will solve some of your issues at least.

+1
Its certainly a prime suspect, especially for multiple systems failure

I would sort out the leak into the car first or the problems just going to recur.
You can make up a temporary lead and run it from the earth tag on the item to a known good earth on the car or direct to the battery neg terminal.

FYI - This turned out to be an issue with the JBE. Replacing the JBE solved all the issues mentioned in the initial post (minus the convertable top).

I assume you still sorted the water leak and cleaned up the earths?
