Could I use 265/35/19 tyre?

Have a set of 19" CSL alloys to fit tyres to.

I realise the standard combo is 235/35 and 265/30 front and rear.

I have the 235/35 for the fronts but have the chance to pick up a set of 265/35's quite cheap.

Would there be any disadvantage on using these bigger profiled tyres? Would it mess up the handling of the car in any way?

I also have a set of eibach springs to fit. I know lowering on 265/30's gives no rubbing problems, would 265/35's pose a problem does anyone think?

Also what are peoples opinions on using different tyre combos on the front and rear?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Stick to the correct relative front/rear combos of width and profile these will:

Make the car less stable as the rears will handle differently under side loads
Throw the gearing (reduce acceleration) and speedo out - at 60 you will be doing 62.5
Raise the rear end ride height by 1.3cm

Don't know, but the rears will be more flexible than the fronts.

Bet if you crashed it would be held as a contributory factor if spotted.
