Could anyone in the East Midlands loan me some wheels?!

This might be a long shot but I'm looking to send my alloys away to Lepsons in the next couple of months for a refurb. I was wondering if anyone within a 50 mile radius or so of Gainsborough could loan me a set of alloys to bolt on while mine are sent away? Tatty as you like or with illegal tyres, I really don't care as I won't be doing any miles on them once fitted and the car will be parked up off road. I'm happy to pay some beer money for the loan or make a donation to the forum.

Yep, definitely! I'm sort of hoping someone with some tatty winter wheels could help a fellow forum member out when they swap them back over in the spring. If not, I'll have to buy a set off ebay and then sell them on again afterwards which is a hassle I could do without...

Bradders, I've got a spare set too, but maybe too many miles from you.

Tyres are legal, but are winters so you wouldn't want to put too many miles on now the weathers improving. Offers there if you want to borrow them (with suitable deposit)

That's very kind of you Tony, thank you. It's about 70 miles to you but I'll take you up on that offer if nobody closer offers to help me out in the next few days. I wouldn't be driving even a mile on your wheels, just fitting them on the driveway and leaving the car alone until I get mine back as I use another car for commuting. A suitable deposit is no problem at all, thanks again. :)

DON'T USE HOME DELIVERY NETWORK (HDNL)

once more:

DON'T USE HOME DELIVERY NETWORK (HDNL)

I sent two 18" 107 wheels with tyres to Lepsons, HDNL only delivered one.

On a more positive note a forum member leant me a complete set of mint 108s when I had mine done so it is possible.

P.S. I have a 17" space saver and spare 108 to lend to anyone in Surrey wanting to do the same.

Used the above once for a full set and all was well, plus lots of forum members give the

I'd second the 'Don't use HDNL' from daveg (but only because I work for their main parcel based competitors  !)
