We have breakfast around 9.15 RickR, it would be quite a drive for you, but would be great to see you there. Bring SWMBO along too.

Any roads recommended to get there from North Hampshire? I'd rather not go A339/M4/A419 :)

Basingstoke, I could peel off in Newbury on the way home. Might have to get up real early to make it for 9 but that way I will beat the traffic :)
 
I have just be informed by the AV8 staff that they had wind damage last week and the main cafe is shut while this is repaired. They will let me know if they will be open for next Sunday.
They are using their outside catering van at the moment, this is cash only and I suppose you sit outside too.
If they are not going to be opening the main cafe for Sunday and the weather OK, are you all still OK to attend AV8 for van grub ??
If not, is there another cafe which is not to far from AV8 as this will be our last Z4 meet of the year.

Ok, AV8 will not be open as the roof is badly damaged and the van only sells cold food, so no good.

I have been looking at another venue, it's called 'Jesse Smith Farm Shop & Café' in Cirencester. I,m seeing if they can fit us in, don't think we will have a large table and not sure what the parking is like. Looks like they open from 10am Sundays, so if we can get in and we all turned up for 10 am, we may be able to fill the car park.
I will let you know what they say about Sunday, please let me know if your still interested.

I'm going to have to cancel, work commitments now. Why does work get in the way of everything fun!!! If I can get out of it I'll let you know.
 
I'm still up for it, I was going mainly to have an excuse to drive the Z4 and meet people, location was always secondary.
 
Thanks for the info. Sad news about AV8. Will still be happy to come along though if a suitable alternative is found.
