Costs for oil sump and turbo drain pipe gasket replacement - 3.5i

Hi Everyone,

My 2009 3.5i has a small but annoying leak which continues to redecorate my driveway. According to paperwork from BMW who did a diagnostic on the leak, they said it was the oil sump gasket and also from the turbo drain pipe gasket.

Group 1 BMW have quoted be around £1500 to change both, but was wondering if anyone else here has experience of having these changed and the costs involved…. I wish I had the space and equipment to do it myself but I dont..

Prices seem reasonable but maybe try an indy

AFAIK sump gasket needs subframe removing and the oil drain gasket needs a gynaecologist…..I burnt up £1,700 just doing the drain side of it effective it Ali b with a gear box leak
