Cost of Parts

Have I been hibernating or has anyone else noticed a massive jump in the price of spare parts. Even oil has increased massively in price. Looking to replace my car battery but see cost ins around £120 for a mid range one.

I haven't bought much lately so haven't noticed that.

Bit I did buy a 70AH Exide 096 battery from Tayna a couple of weeks ago for £104.97 delivered which I thought was OK.

It's Brexit and these new and improved prices are to pay for the sunlit uplands and unicorns.

In other news North Korea today held the funeral for a racist, foul mouthed immigrant pensioner who lived off state benefits his entire life and also passed on the money making scheme to his extended family.

Laughed all his way to his grave while the people waved flags and blue passports.

I've noticed similar- I have however started to use autodoc- if you use the app, on the right day can get 35% off the order

However shipping from germany now takes about 2 weeks

No.
I just bought a pair of rear brake discs for £5.45 each from Germany !
Aliexpress charges VAT now, but that cannot be down to Brexit. Just the government recouping the VAT that should always have been paid.

Autodoc Ridex discs....price has even gone down a bit !!!
I also bought some filters while I was at it.
Took 9 days to arrive.

There was no customs charge, just the usual UK VAT.
