Cost of a new clutch

Hi all, I think my clutch is in the very early stages of needing changing. Roughly how much can I expect to pay for a garage to do this? It's a 55 plate, 2.0lt Z4

What symptoms are you getting? If it is judder when cold then don't go to all that expense, its a common feature of the 2.0. There is ways to avoid it though. :thumbsup:
 
Hi Tug, it's just little things at the moment like the occasional sluggish response from the car when i accelerate hard, my fuel consumption has gone up and occasionally the revs go high when i'm accelerating but the car doesn't respond for a good few seconds and even then it's a slow acceleration.
I could be wrong (probably am), but it's just a gut feeling.
 
Pull the handbrake hard on and try and drive off. Your first two symptoms are not the clutch but the third one might be.
