corrosion on my oilpin

I was checking my oil yesterday and found oil on the pin for checking the oil level
Is this bad? It's being serviced tomorrow, but im still worried

Unless it is a new car, the cosmoline, added to the engine at build looks like rust. Need a few more specifics from the OP to actually formulate an appropriate answer.

sure dipstick the thing you check oil with=) had it serviced now and didnt seem to be a problem
