my alternator drive belt is badly perished and needs replacing, i've been told by a bmw specialist.

this is the correct one:

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BT52&mospid=47797&btnr=11_3416&hg=11&fg=18

is this one the same?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FAN-DRIVE-BELT-for-BMW-Z4-E85-E86-6PK1453-/321014648992?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AZ4&hash=item4abdf6d0a0

and this one?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKF-drive-belt-fan-belt-auxiliary-belt-BMW-SEAT-SKODA-VW-VKMV-6PK1453-/271097855019?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AZ4&hash=item3f1eb0fc2b

they both say the same (6PK1453) and it says it fits my car (z4 3.0i), so i guess it should do, but you never know

Why don't you just get oem?

They were about that price from the dealer, are you going to do the tensioner as well?

Also you might as well do the a.c. belt at the same time as it has to come off to take the aux belt off
