Cornwall meet anyone???

Also, my weekend away for 19/20 September has been cancelled so I could do 12/13, 19/20 or at a pinch 26 September, although we go away on 27 September for a few days.

5 pages over 3 months & still no meet  Cornwall get your act together :poke:
Pick a date , pick a place & turn up , if there's more than yourself Helen that'l do , if there's 3,4,5,6 turn up even better :)
try adding bacon butty , brew , or jam scone in the post title & you should get more interest :P

Ok I know the services you mean down toward Lanivet. That looks pretty central for every one to meet. Any one got a circular route in mind with the services as the start finish point? Is the date firm? What start time? Are we stopping on route for Breakfast/ lunch etc

Helen, I take it you have the ball here. Happy to help with a route if you like. :)

I hadn't really factored in arranging a drive, just meeting up. I'm not really familiar with roads round that part of Cornwall so if you wanted to plan a route that'd be fine with me. If not, then just meeting up with everyone to say 'Hello' would be good too.

Can soon threw a route together. I suspect most people will wan't a little run out. I'll watch this space for comments. :driving:

Love Lanhydrock, where do you park though? We always have to park miles from the house when we go. I'm sure MrsG would be along for that, if she is not working.

Will be fun, don't roll your car over again though. 10k in a month is too much. What happened to the Atlantic Highway run? :driving:

Mr Wilks we're on Dreckly time here in Cornwall!!!

Ok... Executive decision... Saturday 19 September... Lanhydrock House...

Yes you do park quite a way from the house but it's a nice walk through the parkland, there's also a cycle hub at the top of the estate, near the car park if anybody fancied a bit of off roading!!

Those that want to do a drive can head off from the car park if they don't want to bother with the estate/gardens/house, those that aren't fussed about a drive can just meet and partake of a cream tea, ice cream or lunch and maybe have a wander round the house and gardens if they wanted to... Or we could do a bit of everything, dependent on the mood on the day.

How about meeting up at 11.00am and taking it from there???

I'll check whether the free entrance is a goer and confirm. I might even be able to organise special parking closer to the house, or even outside the house for a photo shoot, but no promises.

That would be very cool if the suns out. 8)

That sounds good to me Helen, we could just drive from there to trago mills liskeard, have some lunch / tea etc.. Sound good? I'm off the last week of sept before going on holiday 2nd of October. So the best weekend for me is 26/27 of this month :) how's that fit with everyone else?

All, just a reminder that we will be meeting at 11am at Lanhydrock this coming Saturday.

Unfortunately I haven't managed to organise a special photo shoot or free entrance (sorry) but we can still all meet up and go for a drive or grab a bite to eat in the cycle hub cafe which doesn't require NT membership to get in.

This may be a very quite meet. But the weather is looking good. 11am Lanhydrock it is. CU there.
