Cornwall meet anyone???

Would it be possible to use the roads on the Mid / East Cornwall on Saturday then on Sunday go far West quickly toward St Just from there to St Ives which is epic, then carry on along the north coast toward Exmoor to make way home for the Bristolains ?
 
Stayed at St just on Wednesday. Cape Cornwall golf an leisure. Good food nice room epic views. 80£ used booking.com :thumbsup:

I believe Spikey and Number 5 planning a weekend to make the most of the trip.
Alan (Number 5) and John (BuzyG) are expert at organising the meet and route planning.
You can carry on arranging a short meet and then maybe BuzyG will have to create another thread.

I'm pretty good at getting lost too. But hey half the fun is exploring new routes. :D

We will be back from Scotland by mid Sept. So those dates are fine by me. I think. The Bristol boys are hoping to drive the Atlantic Highway this year, so the route should take care of it's self to a large extent. :driving:

Been on plenty of meets with a previous car club... Not Z4... And they were all meets! Drives were drives and weekends away were weekends away!! :thumbsup:

Anyhoo, one of the key players (originators of the idea) can't make this date... 19/20 is out so how about 26/27? It's my birthday on 30 September so a good excuse for birthday cake!!! :roll:

Wow ! Actual planning taking place here...I like it !

Spikey & myself, but possibly Phil45110 & //Mikerw were hoping to do the Atlantic Highway as mentioned. We may even be able to get a few more along in the way of Limpmisfit, Danstarr, PSW007 & 2Dogs.

I dont think 4/5 Sept were feasible so weekends after that should be OK. Defo need one nights Accommodation in Cornwall to make it work for us, really. Somewhere down Truro, St Austell way., St Mellion way.

Count me in.

Don't live anywhere near Cornwall (Salisbury) but love the area. Brother lives near Helston (with a, cough, Z3) so possibly a bit of vintage zed in the meet/drive :-)

Easy on dates too, so will keep eye on thread. Like idea of keeping it out of school holiday time though..

Alan et al - just a reminder we have the 19th and 20th in the diary for this meet :poke: :poke:

We set this weekend amongst other things coz I'm on holiday the first 2 weeks

Alan ( Number 5) is on hols for next 2 weeks so poss no response until his return

Warm up meets are always fun too though - especially if Buzyg is in the lead :driving:
 
RJBaz is away on 19/20 September so I thought that date was out?

I can't do that weekend either as I'm away too!

It looks like we might have to go for a couple of different weekends! Maybe one just for a meet up and one for a Cornwall coast to coast weekend!

Whereabouts near Helston Paul? I used to be down that way!

Redruth at moment. He's been down there forever working mostly at RNAS Culdrose.

Used to go down in the 80's in my Fiat Uno - they didn't even have FM Radio. Now they have better broadband then here ! Progress for ya...

I can kill two birds with one stone and do a family visit :-)

I used to live down on The Lizard peninsula, near Coverack/St Keverne but now live at Perranarworthal on the A39 half way between Truro and Falmouth!

very nice. At least when its not full of emmets :-) Had some nice meals in Falmouth.

Was looking at some properties (for my retired mum) in Penryn.. Will probably do a reccie whilst down there. Might take her down for the Z4 meet :-)

OK Spikey, we'll stick to our plan and get down there on the 19/20 weekend boss.
(Reporting in from Turkey, arrived today to a balmy 42degrees ! )
