Its those mad 6 weeks of school hols, everyone has come to cornwall, the roads are manic the beaches are manic , the whole place is manic ! great for the local economy but went for a surf at watergate and on a weekday couldnt get in the field car park cant have a meal in the pub apres surf as its queued out the door , three or four dropper inners on most waves, not only that but the jelly fish have turned up en mass also, little purple buggers. cant give the M its head as the roads are stacked ,cant get to the ski lake in under 1.5 hours on a saturday as the temple a30 widening works are still in a folder in the back of a drawer in some dot office, bet d. cameron doesnt sit in the traffic on his way to Rock and polzeath for his photo opportunity Holiday at home before he jets off to ibiza !!! Cant park the Z in case some emmet gives it a car park dent !!!
roll on september for quiet hoons and autumn swells. the one consolation is that there are still a few spots to surf and eat that most visitors would never find , and no I'm not naming them on here! everyone welcome to cornwall for yr hols, enjoy, hope you get lovely weather, just dont expect to have it to yourself, sort of a bit like the s. of france in august......Now, off to check out ryans peak or cave, or even chillies if the wind goes around !!!
