I checked the corner weights on my Z4 today and this is the result.
2005 3.0 manual, Heated/electric seats, santnav, cd changer, 225/255 tyres on 108's, half tank of fuel.
Front L 350.7kg
Front R 363.4kg
Rear L 340.7kg
Rear R335.2kg
total weight 1390kg
--------------------------------------------------
with my 6ft2" 103kg frame in the seat
Front L 352.9kg
Front R 399.2kg
Rear L 379.7kg
Rear R 362.0kg
Total weight 1493kg
What's interesting is the 35.8kg increase on the front R and the fact the cars heavier on the rear left in both checks, this shows the car is balancing diagonally FR to RL, this may well be the springs on this particular car and may well change to a more normal R/L balance bias when I have calculated the required spring frequencies and get a set of springs ordered.
The 46.3kg difference between the FR and FL is considerable and I will see what spring rates are required to achieve a balanced spring frequency, this may lead me to experiment with asymmetric springs on the front.
Anyway this should be representative of a standard car of this spec or near as damn it with six cylinder manuals if anyone is interested in their cars corner weight.
