Corbyn for Leader ?

Quite amusing the way things are unfolding - I' m no supporter of the Left but I do so hope Corbyn wins just to stuff all those arrogant buggers who are telling everyone not to vote for him - the more they slag him off the more votes he'll get :D

The Tories must be cock-a-hoop - Labour is in a complete mess and any chance of a revival will be even more remote with Corbyn as Leader but as Entertainment value bring it on :D

Pretty much sums up my feelings :D

Though I have to say, he's more likeable than any of the others. I just want to punch Yvette Cooper in the face every time I see her on the TV, mainly for being married to Ed Balls... Who I also want to punch in the face.

Strange.... I feel more like kicking him in the Eds...

By Blair trying to talk Corbyn down its actually helping him along because lets be honest, who trusts Blair!!!!

Hah, i quite like this Corbyn chap. Seems like he says what he thinks, (hence getting so much s**t for not towing the blairite party line) whether i agree with it or not.

I'm no Labour supporter, especially in it's current state (weak policy, union control and general lack of any ambition/leadership/quality of MPs), but it'd be nice if the opposition was actually an opposition, rather than just a tory punchbag.

With regards to the other 'candidates', i've not heard Burnham say anything yet. Liz Kendal is up there with Harriet Harman in the world's top 5 most annoying women list. And yeah, whilst Yvette Cooper is probably the better generalist Labour candidate, she is married to a guy who sits near the top of the most annoying men list.

Well I studied Politics at A level and having carefully analysed these developments I can add that in my professional opinion he looks like a vegetarian rambler who would struggle to find a woman he could beat in an arm wrestle.

 Perhaps Blair missed a trick there - he could have guaranteed that Corbyn will lose the election simply by endorsing him

 I am pleased your time at study were not wasted.

He reminds me of Michael Foot. Brilliant politician but not a leader. Labour keep getting that concept mixed up.

Agree "Bliar" should have endorsed him to make sure he lost. I'm not a labour man but wish I'd payed my £3 to vote for Jeremy.

Its all panning out nicely , let's be honest , there's no credible offering to take the labour party into a credible force to worry the tories .
The labour"party" ran out of champagne when blair sloped off after clearing out the fridge , now they have to suffer the hangover for however long that takes .
As for Ed Balls , strange how absent he's been from it all ? Complete w4nker in my eyes but then that goes for most of them

Get him in pronto then it seals the loony lefts fate if there was any slight doubt left. They are all a shower of 'borrow now pay later and f**k the consequences, keep the hard working honest man footing the b*****d scroungers and layabouts welfare bill'. Hate labour with a passion.

If Corbyn wins I think we will be in for some interesting PMQ's,on a wednesday.I think Cameron will have a difficult time with him at the dispatch box.

I did laugh when he lost his seat  but I'm sure that he's there, in the background, trying to pull Yvette Cooper's strings - I bet that the only reason she didn't take his name when they got married was that she knew that she'd be indelibly tainted by his wanksplattishness

But not at the ballot box. :D

I wouldn't be too sure about this - you could argue that Labour has been watered down so much over the years that their traditional voters have become totally dissillusioned with modern day namby pamby middle of the road ineffectuals - Corbyn appears to represent the passion and idealism of true Socialism and will undoubtedly give Cameron a hard time and appeal to the Scottish voters who defected to the SNP - add to this the resignations of the current Corbyn slaggers off and the whole ball game may change
