Corbyn bought a coat

I saw Corbyn at the Cenotaph and was pleased to see he’s bought a decent dress overcoat for the occasion this year - I wonder if he’s kept last years old anorak or sold it on EBay?

However Boris couldn’t be arsed to do up the buttons on his coat or jacket !

I would like to to think some one roasted Corbin after he way he presented himself at the cenotaph last year.

Im old enough to remember when another one of Labours leaders. Micheal Foot, wore a dark green donkey jacket on Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph.
My father (a labour voter and D Day Veteran) was seriously annoyed at the chump.

Shame that buffoon Bojo hasn't received any condemnation for the way he acted. The BBC dragged footage from years ago to spare his blushes, not that that piece of arsewipe would blush at anything.

Foot did not wear a 'donkey' jacket. The daily fail might well have described it as such, but a little googling will show this is not true. But say it often enough, Nasty Party policy, and apparently it becomes true.

It wasn’t appropriate no matter what you call it - I saw it at the time.

I agree tho, daft Boris couldn’t be bothered to button up his coat - but I suppose Trump wears his coat like that as well.
A serious bit of hero worship - but they’ve all done that, Blair sucking up and dressing like Bush!

Strictly speaking you are correct in that the garment in question was not a donkey jacket. There is a photo of it below as it is now in a museum somewhere. Depending on your view and sense of style people will make up their own minds as to whether it was appropriate or not for wearing at a sombre event to honour those who lost their lives defending our country.

You must be very naive if you think the BBC would do anything to spare Boris Johnson’s blushes. In truth it was just a BBC cock-up for which they later apologised. While you were Googling did you discover that it was a Labour MP who first gave the jacket it’s ‘donkey jacket’ epithet? As for your comments on our Prime Minister I will leave it to others to decide which side of the political divide is the nasty party!
