I have a 2009 Z4M 62k mls, the radiator coolant has never been changed, is it necessary to change/flush the system from time to time?

But everything degrades over time
So id change it out buddy

I'd certainly recommend flushing/renewing every 50k, esp if you're not the 1st owner and don't know if it's been topped up a multitude of different coolants resulting in a sickly sweet and performance-compromised 'dirty sex on the beach with your engine' cocktail! :lol:Beemingallover said:
When I flushed the coolant in my 109k E85 it was a dirty brown nightmare fluid and stank like a mongrel thats been caught in a shower! Wish ida done it first thing after trying to solve cooling issues when i swapped in a new pump and stat but there you are :|
Flushed, replaced with Kroon SP11 and all good now. Can stand in traffic on a warm 30deg day and the needle stays in the vertical whereas it used to creep to the next quadrant

Yes, can't do any harm changing it and be re assured, check the hose as well. [ref]D4dawg[/ref], like the wheels, tempted to buy a set.
