I have a 2009 Z4M 62k mls, the radiator coolant has never been changed, is it necessary to change/flush the system from time to time?
Thanks
Thanks
I'd certainly recommend flushing/renewing every 50k, esp if you're not the 1st owner and don't know if it's been topped up a multitude of different coolants resulting in a sickly sweet and performance-compromised 'dirty sex on the beach with your engine' cocktail! :lol:Beemingallover said:I have a 2009 Z4M 62k mls, the radiator coolant has never been changed, is it necessary to change/flush the system from time to time?

When I flushed the coolant in my 109k E85 it was a dirty brown nightmare fluid and stank like a mongrel thats been caught in a shower! Wish ida done it first thing after trying to solve cooling issues when i swapped in a new pump and stat but there you are :|
Flushed, replaced with Kroon SP11 and all good now. Can stand in traffic on a warm 30deg day and the needle stays in the vertical whereas it used to creep to the next quadrant![]()
