Coolant

Hi guys

I know there's all sorts of threads on coolant here and I'm aware of what coolant should be in the car.

I'm currently changing the header tank.

The coolant from the car is pink, which suggests it's got OAT in there.

I know there can be some non ODM coolants which are pink but my thoughts are it's probably just had OAT out in there.

I've got OEM stuff to put back in. Would you think this is the best thing to do? Obviously I'm going to flush the system as mixing the two is bad news.

Any advice would be great

Sounds like you know what to do, flush out the old stuff and fill with OEM stuff!

I couldn't suggest a better plan. Some may argue there's a better plan, which would be debatable, but you can't go wrong with OEM.
