Coolant

Hi all, changed coolant not long back. Bled the system, heater is nice and hot top hose is hot. Temperature gauge goes half way, but bottom hose on nearside to thermostat housing feels cold. Am puzzled.

Just a follow up, didn't get much reply on this topic.
Changed coolant and bled system, heater gets hot temperature gauge goes half way as normal. Top hose gets hot but hose on off side bottom of radiator to thermostat housing isn't getting hot. Any advice be good as always.

Are you having some kind of problem? gauge reads okay - is it blowing out coolant? if not crack on and drive it.

Gauge reads fine no coolant coming out anywhere, heater is nice and warm. I can take the cap off when engine up to temperature and coolant doesn't come out. Is that normal?

Sounds like it is working properly, especially since the heater is blowing hot air and the car is getting up to temp. Does sound a little strange that you can pull the cap off when up to full temp, but everything else seems normal. :?
