Coolant warning light on

On the way home from work the yellow coolant light came on, i immediately had dejavu from the last time when the bleed screw broke.

So the light goes out and doesn't come back on but i decide to check under the bonnet when i park up, i see alot of wetness on the botton plastic cover. I let things cool down and head back out, i notice alot of wetness on the underside of the lower radiator hose I focused on here because i read Shipkillers excellent write up. I recon i need to replace the orings but most likely i will replace the hose. I have alot going on at the moment and its getting cold out. How much do you think the dealer will charge compared with doing it myself?

I had noticed a wet patch on the garage floor but i had assumed that is was with the rain we had been getting recently, I am assuming that i will only leak when i put the car under heavy load as it is not visibly leaking on idle.

I replaced my lower radiator hose today following the Shipkiller write up (thanks Shipkiller), it was alot easier than i thought it would be. I put it all back together and filled with coolant bleeding out the air as i went. I cleaned the tray at the bottom of the car so it was dry where i could reach it, went for a spin to get the engine to full temp. Opened the bonnet to take a look and noticed some water in the bottom engine cover again, I am not sure if it may have been sitting in a puddle where i couldnt reach it and it had just moved during the drive. I cannot see any dripping with the engine running even after revving it, I guess i need to wait a couple of days before i will know if it is still leaking or not.

The old hose was definately leaking i could easily see that when i started to remove it, fingers crossed. I dont enjoy working on the car in this weather, its too damn cold.
