Coolant light after coolant flush

Hi all, just a quick one - had the car in at an indy yesterday, had full inspection 2, gearbox diff oil brake fluid and coolant changed.

Driving to work this morning the coolant light came on in the dash.... Rather strange considering I've just had it changed. Is this normal and should it go off? Has anyone had similar issues like this?

What is the coolant level like?
It is possible they didn't completely bleed it and it's now settled and the level has dropped.
I assume you have no signs of a leak from wherever they were working on the cooling system?

Had the same issue after a replacement water pump, thermostat and reservoir. After a long drive, light came on. Topped up and no problems since.

Coolant level seems correct and there are no leaks that I can see.

It came on again after around 15 mins of driving. Turned the engine off and then back on again when I got home and the light disappeared. Could it perhaps need bleeding more?

Are you getting heat in the cabin?
Are the pipes all getting hot (not sure which ones on a z4 but just to check for fluid flow and no air locks)

Is the coolant sensor at fault? Dodgy connection maybe?

Not sure if this helps but general fault finding.

Yes i am getting heat in the cabin, I didn't think to check the pipes but I will tomorrow thanks for the suggestion
A dodgy sensor seems quite common from what I have researched but it seems very odd to suddenly mess up the day after I have had the coolant flushed. I will double check the coolant level and see if the light pops up on my commute tomorrow again. If so looks like a trip back to the garage
