coolant leak

Ive noticed that I have been loosing coolant and today I have traced it to the bottom of the coolant level bottle at the front of the engine.
The water drips when hot,at a white plug that has a cable coming from it at the bottom of the bottle and I wonder if it will be a replacement bottle or if there is an o ring maybe fitted there? Its difficult to get in there especially when the engine is hot. Any help would be much appreciated.
 
Your expansion tank will have a small hairline crack somewhere in it

Replace it- fairly simple job to do
 
Is it auto or manual?
If auto you'll need the oil cooler thermostat that sits under it too as that will in all likelihood break apart when you remove the tank.
 
Where you based I have a spare in the parts bin new if you want a hand fitting
 
So what sort of job am I looking at to replace the expansion bottle?
I've watched a couple of youtube videos and one removes fans/bottom engine shield where as the other video leaves them in situ. What would be the best way and how to bleed the system afterwards..any tips would be very helpful please :thumbsup:
