Coolant bleed screw

Hi
I have a 53 plate zed with ( I think ) a M54 engine
I would like to bleed the coolant to see if this is the cause of an overheating issue I have but I don’t know where the bleed screw is.
So any advice as to the location of the bleed screw would be appreciated

It's under Bonnet, under the plastic slam panel to the right of the coolant filler cap. Have to remove the panel.

I cannot emphasize this enough, the engine needs to be bled properly, any small amount of air can cause overheating as the thermostat will not work properly.

Thanks for your replies. I donthave the car with me at the moment it’s over with the dealers So I don’t know what tools I need to take with me to remove the cover and loosen the bleed screw when I go over a bit later to have a look at it.
Advice would be very much appreciated

Phillip's screwdriver
Some torx bits cant remember size but approx 4-5mm upto nearly 10 mm for rad plastic screws
Maybe small flat blade too incase have different style plastic rivets holding slam panel on

But as previous poster said bleeding is crucial, mine wasnt bled correctly by previous owner :wink:

Thanks for your words of wisdom, I got the plastic panel off and have been bleeding it very carefully as was suggested. Now it’s properly bleeded time to take it for a spin to the new forest tomorrow, fingers crossed no overheating.
